The English club want the Brazilian to help them win the Champions League

Alves has a contract with Juve until 2018 but has many offers on the table

Chelsea are keen to sign Dani Alves from Juventus as they look to make their mark in the Champions League next season. The London club are close to wrapping up the Premier League title and are already planning for the summer.

Italian coach Antonio Conte has asked for the signing of an experienced player to strengthen the defence going into his second campaign as boss at Stamford Bridge. The English club will wait until after the end of the current season to talk with Juve, where the Brazilian has a contract until 2018 after joining from Barcelona for free.

The player is currently excited at the possibility of winning a treble with Juve this season and also has other offers from teams hoping to be in the Champions League next season. His performance against Monaco, where he set up two goals, was key to waking up the interest in teams who've been following his situation.

Juve, of course, will not make things easy because he's proved a key player this season, despite missing a number of months with an injury.
