The Brazilian was incredible in PSG's defeat but he lives to fight another day

Paris Saint-Germain went down at home against Bayern Munich in another exciting clash but they still reached the Champions League semi-finals on aggregate.

The thrills and spills from their 3-2 first leg win over Bayern repeated, just without as many goals this time in Paris.

Bayern earned a 1-0 win through Eric Chupo-Moting’s header from close range, but they could not get another goal to oust the French side.

Neymar hit the bar and the post in the first half in another sensational display, while Kylian Mbappe had a goal disallowed for offside.

Champions Bayern were knocked out by the team they beat in last season’s final, and PSG will face Man City or Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final.

"Normally, my team has so much quality in the final third, but today they were lacking that final punch,” said Bayern coach Flick. “We have to accept that, even though we would have liked a different outcome.

“I have to pay huge compliments to my team, even though Paris progressed. As a fair loser, I would like to congratulate them."
