Chelsea 2-0 Dortmund (2-1 agg): Potter's Blues turn it around

| sport

The London side made it through to the Champions League quarter finals

Chelsea played well and scored two goals for the first time in 2023, just what they needed to come from behind against Borussia Dortmund and reach the UCL quarter-finals.

The English side netted through Raheem Sterling and then Kai Havertz from a retaken penalty which had been initially awarded for handball.

"There is a lot of emotion in the end. It was tense in the end but the boys played fantastic. I am delighted for them to get the win and great for everyone here," said a happy Graham Potter.

Dortmund went home early despite their first leg 1-0 lead.

"I think the first 10 minutes you can feel the power not just from Chelsea but from the stadium," admitted Dortmund coach Terzic.

"After that, we came back into the game but they managed to score and we didn't.

"We had a clear chance through Bellingham and only had a couple of counter-attacks to defend."
