Chelsea lost against Porto but progressed to the Champions League semi-finals, where they will face Real Madrid or Liverpool.
Thomas Tuchel’s side reached their first UCL semis for seven years despite Mehdi Taremi’s sensational overhead kick in stoppage time.
It was a dull affair with neither side particularly impressive, but that suited Chelsea who had a 2-0 first leg ‘away’ lead.
Jesus Corona came close for Porto but it was one of few chances, both sides failing to get a shot on target until the 65th minute when Taremi was denied by Edouard Mendy.
N’Golo Kante ran the game despite recent hamstring problems and was able to complete the 90 minutes.
He helped shut out Porto until the end, when Taremi scored that brilliant goal, but it was not enough.
"We'll take anyone – we're ready for the fight,” said Mason Mount, of Madrid’s trip to Anfield on Wednesday.
“We get to sit down and watch it and analyse it and the best team will go through."
