The Argentine's agents are expected to fly out to Barcelona after meeting with Inter Milan this week

FC Barcelona's negotiations with Inter Milan over a move for Lautaro Martinez haven't stalled. Whilst the focus appears to have switched to Memphis Depay, reports in Italy suggest Barça have restarted talks over a deal for Lautaro.

According to 'Corriere dello Sport', Lautaro's agents are set to meet with Inter Milan today in order to discuss the player's situation at the club. Once that meeting has concluded, they will fly out to Barcelona to hear from the Catalan club.

The first meeting in Milan won't only discuss the player's possible move to Barcelona but also the chance of him signing a new deal with Inter. So far, the Argentine star has refused to pen an extension because of Barça's interest.

However Javier Zanetti, Inter's vice president, is clear on his stance when it comes to the team's star player. "Lautaro won't be leaving Inter," he told FOX Sports. "It isn't just Barcelona who are interested in him but Lautaro knows he's already at a great club. He seems happy with Italian life, which isn't always easy. I believe he's on the right path. For now, he won't leave."
