Pjanic-Arthur swap deal among Juventus transfer being investigated

Barcelona's signing of Miralem Pjanic from Juventus, which saw Arthur Melo move in the other direction at the same time, is one of a number of transfers being invested by the Italian authorities.
Police collected documents from Juve's offices related to a number of transfers made between 2019 and 2021 as they investigate financial irregularities.
The investigation is focusing on "false communications from listed companies" and invoices issued for "non-existent operations."
Among the 42 operations that are being investigated, there is one that stands out above the rest, the exchange of Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanic between Barcelona and Juventus.
