The former Chelsea striker is currently playing with Montreal Impact but may be able to be persuaded to join Napoli on loan
Ivory Coast hitman Didier Drogba, currently playing with Montreal Impact (MLS) at 38-years-old has emerged as a surprise candidate for Napoli as they look to fill the gap left by Arkadiusz Milik. The striker hurt his knee while playing with Poland and will be out for between four and six months.
Drogba would in theory arrive at Maurizio Sarri’s team on loan until June 30, if the operation takes place. And if it does, it would be the fourth league in Europe he has played in, with the others being France, England and Turkey.
Milk signed for Napoli from Ajax to cover the transfer of Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus this summer, but was injured during Poland’s World Cup 2018 qualifying clash with Denmark.
