The Argentine has not scored for six games and could be on the bench this weekend

Lautaro Martinez is getting plenty of criticism in Italy. Inter Milan's elimination from the cup at the hands of Napoli has not gone down well as he continues to be linked with a move to FC Barcelona.

'La Gazzetta Dello Sport' suggest that the Argentine's dip in form is directly related to the reports that he will move to Camp Nou when the current season ends.

The cited media even goes further and claims Alexis Sanchez could take Lautaro's place in the side when Serie A returns this weekend, partnering Romelu Lukaku in attack against Sampdoria.

The Chilean forward is on loan from Manchester United but in Italy there are rumours that, if Barça sign Lautaro, he could be signed on a permanent basis.

Away from the speculation, it's true that Lautaro's success has trailed off. In the first 26 games of the season, he scored 16 goals, while he's now six games without a goal, a dry streak being linked with his mind being elsewhere.
