The Danish player has had to leave the hotel he moved into after joining from Spurs

Christian Eriksen finds himself in an unheard of situation due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping Europe. In Italy, the country worst affected by Covid-19, they have closed a lot of business, including the hotel where he was staying in Milan after joining Inter in January.

Like the majority of teams in Italy, Inter are in quarantine after the Juventus player Daniele Rugani tested positive for coronavirus after playing them. But Eriksen has been left without a home after the decision was taken to close the hotel where he was residing as he searched for a house.

Inter have had to step in to solve the problem, providing him an apartment where he will stay for the next 14 days in preventative isolation. The club's fitness coaches have given him a daily routine and a diet to follow during that time.
