He tested negative for the coronavirus so has headed back to his homeland

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has headed back to Argentina from Turin after he tested negative for coronavirus. Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi, two of his team-mates have the virus. Juve told news agency EFE that Higuain had gone home.

The Argentine international was allowed to leave with no training on the cards because of the virus. Higuain went to France and then Spain before heading home because no planes from Italy are allowed to go to Argentina.

Nobody knows when football will resume.
