The legendary goalkeeper, who turned 42 back in January, returned to Juventus after spending a season at PSG

Juventus' veteran goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, has said he will continue playing football because he still feels "good" and because he remembers the effort he made as a youngster to become a professional footballer.

Buffon, who turned 42 in January and is currently backup to Wojciech Szczesny at Juventus after a season at PSG, gave an interview to Juventus' official website. "I haven't stopped playing because I still feel good but also out of respect to the dream I had when I was a child. At that moment, I could never have imagined where I would get to."

The legend is currently in isolation, like the rest of his teammates, after Daniele Rugani tested positive for coronavirus.

"For those who live in a flat, in a city, it's complicated. But you have to respect everyone around you and follow the instructions we've been given. This experience will unite us even more."
