The Dortmund coach previewed Tuesday's Champions League clash in Germany

Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre is looking forward to his side's Champions League opener at home to Barcelona on Tuesday night. They go into the game on the back of a 4-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend.

"We're delighted to play against Barcelona," Favre said in his pre-game news conference. "I had a feeling before the draw we could end up in their group."

Lionel Messi has returned to the Barça squad after being cleared fit to make his comeback from a calf injury and Favre feels Barça are different outfit with and without the Argentine.

"Without Messi, they play differently," he said, adding that "Barcelona often play with a false nine, with Greizmann forward and Suarez behind him."  However, he says Ernesto Valverde "always uses 4-3-3."

As for his own team, he has a couple of fitness doubts. Lukas Piszczek will be evaluated after training on Monday, while Schulz is definitely out.

The BVB boss hopes that the home advantage and the support of the fans can push his team on: "Our fans are always very important for us and they will be key for this game."
