Busquets: "There is still a long way to go in La Liga"
The midfielder was gutted to lose to Madrid but looked on the bright side
Sergio Busquets lamented Barcelona's Clasico defeat to Real Madrid on Sunday after watching his teammates spurn a number of first-half chances.
Second-half strikes from Vinicius and Mariano Diaz moved Madrid back to the top of the table, one point clear of Quique Setien's Barca side.
Busquets didn't want to dramatise the defeat but bemoaned the fact Barça missed the chance to open up a five-point gap at the top of La Liga.
"There is still a long way to go in La Liga and we have to focus on the positives and keep on going," Busquets told Movistar after the 2-0 loss.
"We've missed a unique opportunity to increase our lead over Madrid after a first half in which we played well and could have taken the lead.
"In the second half, everything changed, because we lost balls and in an unfortunate play they took the lead.
"We weren't good when they pressed us one on one and we accept those risks of losing the ball, but we've not lost because of our physical condition.
"You suffer when you don't have the ball in games between the big teams."
