The midfielder didn't think either side deserved to win the game at Camp Nou

Sergio Busquets felt Barcelona's 1-1 draw with Real Madrid on Wednesday in the Copa del Rey semifinal was a fair result.

Malcom's second half goal cancelled out Lucas Vazquez's opener to leave the two sides level ahead of the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu later this month.

"I think it was an even game," Busquets said. "They played more on the counter attack in the first half. In terms of chances and control of the game, I think the draw's a fairy result.

"Both teams had chances but neither deserved to win more than the other. The tie is 50-50. They have the second leg at home but there's still a while until that game."

With Lionel Messi only fit enough to start on the bench, Malcom was Barca's biggest attacking threat and he scored the leveller.

"I'm sure this will be good for Malcom's confidence," Busquets added. "The goal will do a lot for him. We hope he can keep helping us."
