Borussia Dortmund join the race to sign Barça's Jean-Clair Todibo
Fulham have agreed a fee with Barcelona but Todibo would prefer a move back to the Bundesliga
Jean-Claire Todibo's departure from FC Barcelona has taken a fresh turn. Fulham agreed an €18m fee with Barça but the late arrival of Borussia Dortmund on the scene has caused the youngster to stall his move to the Premier League newcomers.
Todibo naturally favours a move to one of the Bundesliga's biggest teams and the chance to play Champions League football next season. However, Fulham's offer is much higher than what Dortmund would be willing to pay. Barça need to generate as much money as possible but Todibo would rather return to Germany than battle relegation in England.
According to 'RAC1', Dortmund were impressed by Todibo during his time at Schalke 04 last season. Jorge Mendes is heavily involved in the deal with Fulham but the player could throw a major spanner in the works if he refuses to join them.
Despite it being clear that Ronald Koeman doesn't want him at the club, Todibo is happy to wait for the right offer to come in and won't accept a deal simply to please the club which is forcing him to leave.
