Bayern Munich are ready to break the market. They have presented a formal offer of 80 million euros for Lille striker Nicolas Pepe.
They have followed the Ivory Coast striker for a few weeks and have seen Lille raise the price of the player. BeIN Sports say that Bayern bid 80m euros.
Lille owner Gerard Lopez confirmed a few days ago the club would not reach any type of deal until the end of the season.
Bayern president Uli Hoeness has said that his team can spend 200 million euros on rebuilding. Barcelona are alert to what happens with Pepe, as he is on their list for possible signings too. They have had fluid contact with the player, his agent and the Lille president.
