Barça and Bayern are locked in a battle for the USMNT and Ajax right-back
Sergiño Dest is moving closer ot Bayern Munich. The Ajax right-back, also wanted by Barcelona, looks set to leave the club before the transfer window closes and, according to De Telegraaf, Bayern made a new offer on Monday.
The German club's new proposal is getting closer to Ajax's price tag. They want around 20 million euros for the United States international and five million more in add-ons. The cited media says both sides are confident of an agreement.
Barça. therefore, must work against the clock if they want to get ahead of Bayern. The Catalans will sell Nelson Semedo to Wolves for 35 million and look to replace him with a younger, cheaper alternative.
The good relationship between Barça and Ajax could play in their favour, but they will have to move quickly in the race for the 19-year-old.
