Bartomeu demands answers over youth team's irregular season
The president will ask about decisions made throughout the season which sees them only able to win the Copa del Rey after falling short in the league and the UEFA Youth League
Last season under Garcia Pimienta, the Juvenil A side won the UEFA Youth League. That role was then passed to Denis Silva as the youngsters looked to repeat the same success. However they lost in the Youth League final and Zaragoza won the División de Honor (domestic league).
For this season Bartomeu has asked for an explanation behind the irregular form. The president is a huge fan of La Masia and wants to know what went wrong in the last 12 months. It wasn't helped by the fact the only two new signings for the Juvenil A side barely played. The only trophy they might still win is the Copa del Rey, where they are in the final, and drew the first leg against Granada 2-2.
