Barcelona turn down two offers for midfielder Ilaix Moriba
The Barca B midfielder is of interest in the Bundesliga
Ilaix Moriba is one of the most promising young players in Europe. Despite being a youngster in his first year the midfielder is a big part of Garcia Pimienta's schemes in the B team and also for the U17 national team. He has exquisite technique and impressive physicality. That combination has caused interest in him.
SPORT has learned that Leipzig and Monchengladbach got in touch with Barca to try and bring him in on loan. Barca's response was a clear 'no'. Eric Abidal was in charge of that situation and he believes he can lead Barca B next season. They'd also like him to do pre-season with the first team.
Ilaix is one of the young talents most likely to break through. He has a contract until 2022 and Barca know they will get no shortage of offers for him until then.
