Yuste sees Haaland as difficult but is optimistic on Dembele renewal
The vice-president spoke about the Dortmund striker and Barcelona's French winger
Barcelona’s sporting vice president Rafael Yuste presented the tournament ‘Barça Academy World Cup’ which takes place in Easter, from 11-14 April, at the club’s training ground.
He was asked questions about the first team too. On Erling Haaland, he said: “We’re working to give hope back but we will not do anything imprudent.” The Dortmund striker is likely far too expensive for the club to buy responsibly - as Dani Alves said in his SPORT interview.
On Ousmane Dembele, he was more optimistic. “Ousmane is very happy, we want him to continue. The negotiation is on track and we will see how it sends up. The intention is for him to stay here.”
In general though, he was firm. “We won’t throw the house out of the window, whoever it’s for.”
