Juve's sporting director is full of pride about the Argentine forward

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has no doubts that the club have a genuine star in Paulo Dybala and he's proud that the Argentine plays for the Serie A champions.

On the rumours of a possible exit, with Real Madrid linked, Paratici was clear and warned that the Italian side will hold on to him: "Dybala stays. Juve only sell a player if he wants to leave."

The sporting director spoke about Juve's quality in the interview with Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's difficult to improve what we have. You always have Dybala there, he plays every game and when you see the team play you see his identity."

Paratici was one of the men behind the Dybala signing in 2015 when he joined from Palermo as a promising 21-year-old.

"Apart from [Cristiano] Ronaldo, he's the signing I am most proud of," he added. "Dybala replaced Tevez, he came after we'd played a Champions League final and we paid 40 million euros for a Palermo forward who had scored 13 goals. It can be scary."

MESSI COMPARISON

Paratici continued: "You could only improve on Dybala by signing Messi, maybe, while with Neymar I would have doubts."

Dybala has scored 54 goals for Juve and along with Ronaldo is the key player in Massimiliano Allegri's side.
