Yerry Mina’s departure has become a bit of a mess with 72 hours to go until the English transfer window slams shut. The player and his agents had reached a complete deal with Everton and the documents were being drawn up, but now Manchester United have come back in with a higher offer. Everton offered 32m to Barca and now Man United are offering a couple of million more.
Mina’s idea was to seal his transfer on Monday or if not, Tuesday. His deal with Everton on a high salary was total but Barcelona are now interested in making as much money as possible. For now United have not wanted to include Mina in Paul Pogba negotiations because they do not want to sell the Frenchman.
Yerry Mina’s people are waiting for further information but they will try and force a move where suits them most - and the contract with Everton is made. They cannot wait much longer before making the move.
