Barcelona are set to sign him from the Brazilian side in the summer

Yerry Mina fractured a bone in his left foot in August but has recovered and may play for his team Palmeiras again against Gremio next weekend. He has been on Barcelona's agenda to reinforce the defence for a long time and is set to sign for the Blaugrana in the summer of 2018.

Mina returned to training on September 29 although working alone, but on Monday October 16 he was able to work with his team-mates again. The defender, if he doesn't make the Gremio game, will reappear on October 30 against Ponte Preta.

Barcelona have a first option on him and there is still a chance they could take him in Januaty although it seems more likely he will move in the summer.
