Yellow alert: Barca players at risk of suspension in Valencia clash

| sport

The Catalans have four men who will be banned if they see another yellow card

There are four Barça players who will have to play with extreme caution against Valencia today if they do not want to join the list of those suspended for next week's game against Athletic Club at San Mamés. Kessie, Busquets, Raphinha and Ferran Torres have already accumulated four yellow cards each and are just one game away from serving a one-match ban.

Losing any of these players for the Bilbao game would be a setback for Xavi because right now they can all be considered starters. And they are two midfielders and two strikers, positions where Barca are depleted. It is true that Xavi is confident that he can recover one or two injured players (Lewandowski and Dembélé) from injury for the game against Valverde's side on Sunday March 12.

For this afternoon's game at the Spotify Camp Nou, Gavi is suspended and Xavi will have to lead the team off the bench, also due to an accumulation of yellow cards. His brother and right-hand man, Òscar Hernández, will take over.
