France Football chose him as one of the best four midfielders of all time

Xavi Hernandez has been chosen by France Football as one of the best four midfield players of all time.  The former Barca player was picked along with Lothar Matthaus, Pele and Diego Maradona in their best XI. 

Xavi and Matthaus are the defensive midfielders in the XI, while Pele and Diego Maradona are the attacking midfielders.

The former Barca midfielder and future Barca coach won 25 titles with the club, including four European Cups, as well as the World Cup and two Euros with Spain.

Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta were also in the list of candidates. France Football also chose the goalkeeper Yasahin, and the defence as Cafu, Beckenbauer and Maldini, with the forwards still to be chosen.

Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will be two of the three and Johan Cruyff may be the third, we'll see.
