Xavi will get involved to renew Gavi's deal

Gavi’s renewal is something Barcelona have to get done. He’s out of contract at the end of next season and for now, there’s no progress on a new deal.
Onze say Xavi has decided to get personally involved in the deal to try and unblock it. They say Xavi will speak to Ivan de la Pena, the former Barcelona player and Gavi’s agent, to explain the project and help get a deal done.
They have a good relationship and Xavi thinks this is a good gesture so that De la Pena sees Gavi is going to have a key role.
