The coach spoke about the latest setback, a 2-2 draw against Osasuna on Sunday

Xavi Hernandez gave a realistic assessment of Barcelona after the 2-2 draw against Osasuna and was also critical of part of the squad.

The Barça coach left Pamplona disappointed by the result and especially the team's performance after going 2-1 up with 30 minutes to play.

"One point is insufficient," Xavi said. "We're in a negative dynamic and nothing's coming off. It's going to be hard to change the dynamic but we have to keep working hard and believing that a favourable result will come.

"It's urgent. There's no attitude problem, it's football-related."

Nico, Gavi and Abde took the team on their backs in Pamplona, despite their age, and Xavi said that is both a positive and a negative.

"The youngsters are making the difference and that's difficult to digest," he added. "It's a positive but also negative because they're not always going to produce excellent performances."

On the team's inability to see the win out, he said: "It was important to play in the opposition's half and create attacking positions and we didn't do it, despite having worked on it this week.

"There are a lot of things we must improve. The objective was to have the ball and attack and Osasuna took the game to us in the final minutes with crosses and set plays."
