The Barcelona coach spoke ahead of the make or break Inter game this week

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez spoke to the media ahead of his side's must-win Champions League game against Inter at Camp Nou on Wednesday.

Barça face being knocked out if they lose, while even a draw would be a bad result. Here is what he had to say:

On Inter: "We expect a similar Inter to the game in Milan, I think they're a defensive team, low-medium block, that's the system they use. We have options, we're working on ways to attack better (...) the reference is the last 30 minutes in Milan, being brave, attacking. This is a final for us. We have no room for error now. With the help of the supporters we hope it will be a magical night."

On his team selection: "I would give too many clues [if I said anything], but yes we're going to attack and we are going to be brave. What concerns us is attacking better than in Milan. In the first half, we didn't understand the roles of Raphinha and Marcos (Alonso). We will change some things to attack better. We have to be more aggressive. Only three points is enough, we have to be brave. We have not done our homework in this competition and we are not in a comfortable position, but tomorrow we have an opportunity at home. It's a final and we will give everything."

Message for the players: "Be positive. I see everything as an opportunity. I try to be affectionate with them, but so that they see this is a final. It's like a return leg in the last 16. (And) that the pressure is for them, not me, and to enjoy the atmosphere of a packed Camp Nou

Role of fans: "The fans will be fundamental. They understand that, tickets are sold out. Camp Nou has to be a cauldron tomorrow from the first moment. Whatever happens, we are going to give everything for the three points to stay here."

Kounde? "In principle we won't have Kounde for tomorrow, save any surprises. I think he can make the Clasico on Sunday, but it will depend on how he feels. If he's not 100%, maybe it's not worth it, but I think he can make it for Madrid."

Would you sign for a 1-0? "No, I prefer 2-0, that's better."

Going out early again: "It would be a big disappointment not to go through, but we are thinking positively. It's become complicated but we want to win tomorrow and stay alive in this competition. It is not a comfortable situation for us because of the misses in Munich, the controversy in Milan, not attacking well (...) but tomorrow is an opportunity to fix that."

Pressure on referee? "We were angry after the last game, which is normal, but that's it now. Tomorrow is about playing better. If we improve, maybe we won't have to speak about referees. The reality is we are not at the level of a few weeks ago and we have to play better."

Lewandowski: "It's about everyone, he has to be important, not just tomorrow, but in every game, like his teammates. We have to improve and link with him more. In the last two games, we have not found him enough. In Munich, we had a lot of chances, it was about being clinical there, we missed a lot. In Milan, it was more difficult, with three big centre-backs (...) We have to play closer to him. He was an island, especially in the first half in Milan. We have to be closer for the team and for Robert."
