Xavi: My objective, not my obsession, is to coach Barcelona
The Catalan is desperate to return to Camp Nou and sit on the bench as the boss
Former FC Barcelona captain has once again recognised his desire to coach the Catalan giants, although he said it's not an obsession, just an objective to return to Camp Nou in a coaching capacity.
Xavi spoke about a range of subjects in an extended interview with the show Al Cotxe on TV3, which will be on television on Monday.
The ex-midfielder, who has retired and is now the coach of Al Sadd in Qatar, has recently completed his UEFA Pro Licence at Las Rozas in Madrid.
Now he is fully focused on coaching, firstly in Qatar, but his goal remains to make it back to Barça as the club's first team coach one day.
"My dream is to go back as Barça coach," he said in part of the interview which has been released early. "That is my objective, but it's not an obsession."
