Barca coach appeared at a press conference ahead of the match against Cadiz

Xavi Hernández provided an update on Dembélé's recovery at a press conference ahead of the match against Cádiz. The Frenchman injured himself during the game at Montivili and has been out for almost a month.

Dembélé felt a twinge in his left leg and asked to be substituted in the 25th minute of the game. After the match, FC Barcelona announced that he had suffered an injury to his left thigh(hamstring).

Xavi acknowledged that "it is too early" to know when he will be available. "The sensations of each player are the key. He's training on the field and jogging. He is with the rehabilitators, then he will return to the group and whatever he feels," he said.

With Ousmane injured, Raphinha is making the most of his opportunity and has already scored three goals and played a key role in last Thursday's game against Manchester United. Even so, Dembélé is an important player for Xavi and is still the team's top scorer (8) behind the Polish striker (23).

As reported by 'Cadena SER' on Friday, and as SPORT reported a few days ago, Dembélé has already started to do some work on the pitch on his own. After a few weeks of hard work in the gym on the bike, the recovery process is progressing according to plan.
