The Barça coach also praised Ousmane Dembele

Xavi Hernández is delighted to have Robert Lewandowski. And not only because of his goals, but also because of his attitude and his game as a whole.

"Robert is like that, insatiable," he said after the striker's hat-trick vs. Viktoria Plzen. "I'm delighted by how he trains, how he helps his teammates. He's humble, he gives orders and he does a great job in pressing. I do not only take the hat trick from this but his work rate and how he dominates all facets of the game."

The Barça coach also wanted to highlight Ousmane Dembélé's performance. He was a nightmare for Viktoria Plzen's defenders.

"He is happy and enjoying himself ," Xavi added. "He is a player who makes a difference, assists and scores goals. He is a dagger down the wing."

Xavi was very satisfied with the Champions League opener because his team played a "complete" game: "We have been dominant at all times. We have been marked individually and the central defenders had to divide but we have been very good one-on-one. We have made differences and created many chances to score more goals."

Self-demanding, the Barça coach regretted the rival's goal because it came through Barça's own mistake, but he congratulated the performance of the players who played who hadn't had too many minutes this season.

"Geri (Piqué), Ferran, all those who have came on were very good," he said. "They are all switched on and this is important."
