Xavi ends the debate over Ousmane Dembele
The coach will use him as he sees fit in the rest of the season
Ousmane Dembele could start against Napoli. Xavi does not care about the potential whistles from the fans.
“We don’t rule out that he could play at home or away, whether he plays or not only depends on how the players train and who is better or worse. He could play. He did against Espanyol and he helped us a lot for 20 minutes because he overloaded the flank, took players on and had some very good minutes,” said the coach.
Xavi made it clear that he will use him until the end of the season.
“He will help us until the end of the campaign because he’s a great player. He’s another one in the squad and will play when we need him and when we think he can help us compete and win.”
Dembele was jeered by fans when he was named on the bench in the last home game.
