Xavi confirms his plan for Pablo Torre this season

Although he made his debut against Olot and continued in the team against Inter Miami, Pablo Torre did not play a single minute in the Clasico in Las Vegas. Xavi took advantage of the clash with the club's eternal rivals to analyse Barcelona‘s most competitive level.

He used players who will feature more often this season and did not give as many chances to the youngsters in that game, but they will have some time against Juventus and New York Red Bulls. Nothing has changed in the plans for the young centre midfielder.

The Barcelona coach still sees the youngster formed at Racing Santander as an asset for the future which could be very interesting for the club. He is sure of the route that Pablo Torre should follow. In his press conference ahead of the clash with Juventus, Xavi explained his plan.

“Yes, he will be involved with the first team," said Xavi. "When I think that he will not be in the squad, he will play with the B team. He’s at the age where he needs to grow. He’s surprising us all. He understands the game well, he’s quick, he associates well with his teammates, he has talent and goals.”
