Willian: I had no official offer from Barcelona

Arsenal forward WIllian has spoken about his move to the Gunners from Chelsea and said there was no official contact from Barcelona. He has been linked to the Catalan giants for years.
"There are still rumours but there was no official offer from Barcelona to sign me," Willian told FourFourTwo magazine.
In the end he left Chelsea to join their rivals Arsenal.
"We had spoken a lot about Barcelona in the last few seasons but I wouldn't have just gone because it's Barca," added Willian.
"I wouldn't go to any club without knowing their objectives and what they expect of me, because it would not be nice to be there or anywhere if you aren't in the project and playing a lot. Arsenal were the one club who showed me a project at the level of ambitions and they are one of the biggest clubs in the world."
