Wijnaldum deal with Barca is "95 per cent done"
The Liverpool man is out of contract in the summer and could come to Camp Nou
Ronald Koeman may get some players he wants this summer. Football Insider say Georginio Wijnaldum is “95% a done deal for Barca”.
The source says that Barcelona will pick him up as a free agent this summer, having come close to him last year.
Barca and Wijnaldum are said to be in advanced conversations and the 30-year-old has said playing for the club would be a dream.
Despite Ilaix Moriba’s explosion in recent weeks Koeman wants Wijnaldum to reinforce the midfield and has told the board as much.
Koeman, who coached him with Holland, has confidence in him and the fact he would arrive for nothing is a boost.
Liverpool are trying to renew his deal but negotiations are not going well and he wants a new adventure.
