What Pique told Leganes' Recio as Messi stepped up to take penalty

The Barça defender told Recio he should try his hand at commentary

Without fans in the stadiums, football has lost its charm and atmosphere. However, the silence allows for the players and coaches to be heard much more clearly.

In Barcelona's win over Leganes on Tuesday, Gerard Pique's comments to the Leganes player Recio -- who was protesting the penalty given for a foul on Lionel Messi -- were picked up.

The audio, first broadcast by Què t'hi jugues, reveals Pique saying: "You comment on every move, someone put a microphone on the man. Get him up in the stands to do the commentary."

The decision to give Messi a penalty after a fine individual run and one-two with Luis Suarez effectively killed off the game, with Messi converting to make it 2-0.

Leganes' No.2 Tono Amor said after the game "it was never a penalty," while Barça coach Quique Setien claimed he had not seen the incident.
