Leo Messi and Luis Suárez were two of the players from Barça’s first team who made the most of their families being in New York to visit the city on the day off granted by manager Ernesto Valverde. Leo Messi and Luis Suárez enjoyed the city with their wives, Antonela Roccuzzo and Sofía Balbi respectively, and their children.
The two players visited the city and, like any other tourists, put up pictures on social media, including selfies with fans who recognised them. They also went to a pizzeria with Sergi Busquets, while Andrés Iniesta also explored the city and was spotted in the NBA store.
