The Schalke coach spoke about the new loan signing from Barca
Schalke welcomed Jean Clair Todibo to the club after his loan switch from Barca. The young French defender was loaned by Barca until the end of the campaign although the Germans have a 25m + 5m euros option to buy him.
"He's a very interesting youth player with a lot of talent and keen to get together with the group," said Schalke 04 coach David Wagner. "He will start to train with us after his medical tests, which were satisfactory."
"Todibo's best position is centre of defence. That's where he prefers and where he plays best. We'll see how quickly he adapts. He's shown in his first hours with us that he's a very open, charismatic and curious person."
