Vote of no confidence against the Barcelona board announced

"The management of the club is unacceptable," says a spokesman for the campaign

There's no room for institutional peace at FC Barcelona. On Wednesday, on Cadena Ser, a group of socios announced that they were preparing a votoe of no confidence against the board, led by president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

One of the members of the campaign, Josep Cremades, said that "the management of the club is unacceptable" and that "we have more than 2,000 (socios) backing us already but less than 5,000," which is the minimum amount required to move to the next step.

Cremades is not acting alone but as part of the Cor Blaugrana platform, a collective that say on their Twitter account they are "a group of socios that want to fight for transparency, good practice and respect for the members of FC Barcelona."

They continued: "Cor Blaugrana is made up of people from many different groups. The idea is to get the maximum number of people possible together, regardless of whatever groups they're part of."

We will see how the vote of no confidence against Bartomeu and his board ends, but remember that there are elections next summer and Bartomeu's made it clear he won't bring them forward.
