Villarreal to refer to Foyth's 42 million clause if Barça try to sign him

Villarreal CF have not received any official request from FC Barcelona for Juan Foyth, the right-back who plays at the Estadio de La Cerámica. The player is on the agenda of FC Barcelona to strengthen the right defensive wing.
Villarreal CF have stated that Juan Foyth is not for sale. If Barça were to ask for the Argentine international, their demand would be 42 million euros.
The Yellows also claim that Foyth is a key part of their team, coached by Unai Emery, and his figures since the 2020-21 season are 71 appearances, 2 goals, 4 assists and a total of 5,558 minutes. He has previously played for Tottenham and Club Estudiantes de La Plata.
According to a report from Jijantes, the player's agent, Claudio Curti, went this Tuesday to the FC Barcelona offices at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The Barcelona director of football is the main supporter of the 24-year-old La Plata-born player. Foyth has a contract with Villarreal until 30 June 2026.
