Verratti already in Paris to talk with PSG
The Italian has returned from holiday to talk to the French club
However, it is thought he will not train with the club until Friday
As we announced yesterday, Marco Verratti arrived in Paris this Monday, ending his holidays a few days earlier than planned. His commitments with the Italian national team meant the Italian could have had a few more days than his teammates but he didn't take advantage of them. Or at least not completely.
Although he is already in Paris, rumours from the French capital suggest he won't report for pre-season until Friday, the day originally scheduled. And what will he do until then? Basically two things: firstly train on his own with a personal trainer.
But it is also thought he will use these days to try to talk to PSG. As we also explained yesterday, Barça want the player to make the first move before the club makes it move. The first objective is to talk to Nasser Al-Khelaïfi because Verratti knows that it is the president and owner of the club who will have the final say.
