The Barcelona boss doesn't appear to be worried about his job

Ernesto Valverde spoke to the press after the Spanish Supercopa semifinal defeat to Atletico Madrid. His future and the possibility of leaving his role at Barcelona was one of the questions which was put to him.

"Coaches focus on working hard and giving everything," he said. "We know how football is. There is a permanent instability when you lost. You can't control that. I focus on myself."

Barça were leading 2-1 with 10 minutes to go but conceded two late on after having earlier had two goals ruled out by VAR.

On the game, Valverde said: "It was a game which we dominated, maybe in the first few minutes we struggled a bit, but then it was complete domination.

"We just couldn't get the goal which they got at the start of the second half (...) but then it seemed we had it in our hands of our hands but at the end they turned it around. It was almost a complete performance save those final minutes."
