The coach believes the transfer window should close before LaLiga gets underway

FC Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde isn't happy that the summer transfer window remains open despite LaLiga kicking off tomorrow evening. He held his traditional press conference ahead of Barça's opener against Athletic Club on Friday night.

"Of course it's an inconvenience to not have your squad finalised when the league is about to start," said the frustrated coach. This as question marks surround the potential incoming of Neymar and the possible exits of Coutinho and Rakitic. "What's normal is when you start a competition, or a season, that you know which players you're going to have for the whole season. At least, that's how I think it should be."

Valverde didn't want to speak about Neymar and insisted his focus was on the players who were available to him.
