Barça are beginning to think about Saturday's trip to Eibar in La Liga

Players are beginning to return to Barcelona training as Ernesto Valverde's side step up their preparation for the return of La Liga this weekend when they travel to Eibar.

After Samuel Umtiti and Junior Firpo returned to light training on Monday following recent injuries, on Tuesday it was the turn of De Jong, Rakitic and Arthur to re-join the group following international duty.

All three players returned to the city on Monday. In the case of Rakitic, he was one of the stories of the day, with images appearing of him walking home on foot due to the transport problems at the airport because of the protests following the sentences handed to Catalan politicians.

During Tuesday's session, Valverde also made use of Barça B players Iñaki Peña and Riqui Puig, while Carles Perez, who's been injured, did part of the session.

More internationals are due back later in the week.
