Los Che aren't in their best moment but beat Barca last season in the Copa del Rey final

Valencia host Barcelona on Saturday, in a game where Los Che aren't arriving in their best form. They have gone years without beating Barcelona in the league but did triumph last season in the Copa del Rey final over the Catalans.

They triumphed 2-1 at the Benito Villamarin, which was the score they beat Barca by at Mestalla in La Liga last, in February 2007. Away from home they have won, 3-2 in February 2014, then 2-1 in April 2016. The rest of the matches have been draws or Barca wins.

Los Che will be missing Dani Parejo after his sending off in last weekend's 4-1 thrashing by Mallorca. They have one win in four games. Barcelona, on the other hand, are league leaders with 43 poitns from 20 games. Valencia are seventh with 31.

Valencia are also missing Guedes, Vallejo and Piccini, with Jasper Cillessen, the former Barca stopper, also unavailable, and Denis Cheryshev injured. The only good news is the return of Rodrigo Moreno, Gabriel Paulista and Geoffrey Kondogbia.
