Arsenal play the Europa League final against Chelsea in Baku on Wednesday, but Denis Suarez will watch his teammates from the sidelines. The midfielder's loan move to the Premier League side (until the end of June) has been a disaster and he's only played six games (95 muinutes). His future is away from London. He still has a contract at Barcelona until 2021.
MARCELINO WANTS HIM
Denis will be a Barça player again from July 1, although the Catalan club plan to let him leave again, hopefully permanently. Despite his struggled in England, there's a lot of interest in him.
Valencia are one of the clubs keen. Marcelino has led Los Che to an excellent season, qualifying for the Champions League, winning the Copa del Rey and reaching the last four of the Europa League. The coach worked with Denis at Villarreal in 2015-16, when the midfielder's performances across 48 appearances earned him a move back to Barça.
BARÇA WANT SALE
Denis knows about Valencia's interest and is open to the move, above all to link up with Marcelino again. The problem is Barça are asking for close to 30 million euros. Los Che are not ready to pay so much, but when things calm down they will siit down and talk with the Catalans to see what the options are.
