Barça's squad is packed with players yet to taste glory wearing the Blaugrana shirt

It's true that the Spanish Supercopa is the smallest of the four titles on offer to Barcelona this season but the delicate position the club is in means it cannot be snubbed.

The final on Sunday, against Athletic Club de Bilbao, could provide an important injection of confidence if Ronald Koeman's side can win.

If they do beat Marcelino's side, as they did last Wednesday at San Mames, up to 10 Barça players will win their first trophy in a Blaugrana shirt -- and Koeman will win his first as coach at Camp Nou.

The 10 players chasing their first trophy with the club are: Mingueza, Araujo, Dest, Junior, Pjanic, Pedri, De Jong, Braithwaite, Griezmann and Trincao.

All of them, save Dest, featured in the semifinal win over Real Sociedad, either as a starter or coming off the bench. Dest was not 100 percent so didn't come on but he should start the final.

Five of those 10 were part of last season's trophy-less campaign. For Araujo, Junior, De Jong, Braithwaite and Griezmann, it was not a first-year to remember at Barça in terms of success.

As for Mingueza, Dest, Pjanic, Pedri and Trincao they are all in their first season at the club and could hit the jackpot at the first chance of silverware since they arrived.

Of the 10, hald of them (Griezmann, De Jong, Pjanic, Braithwaite and Trincao) know what it's like to win a trophy at club level given they have done at their previous clubs. For the rest, it would be their first title.

For Braithwaite, it would be his first since May 2013, when he won the Danish Cup with Esbjerg. Almost eight years later, he has the chance to win a third career trophy having also won the second division in Denmark.

There are two other players who could win their first trophy for Barça although it will depend on if they get minutes in the final, as they didn't play in the semi: Neto and Ilaix Moriba.

The goalkeeper, who tasted success with Juventus, is unlikely to play unless Marc-Andre ter Stegen gets injured of sent off.

As for Ilaix, the midfielder has more chance as an outfield player, although it seems unlikely he will be handed minutes against Athletic unless the match is clearly decided late on.
