Umtiti back training in Barcelona but working on his own
The defender is still recovering from a knee problem which has hampered his campaign
Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti is back at the club's training ground after spending several weeks in Qatar.
France international was in Doha undertaking "conservative treatment" as he looks to move on from a knee problem which has plagued his season.
Umtiti has so far refused surgery, which is the option the club have pushed for in light of his ongoing struggles.
He is now back at the Ciudad Deportiva del Barcelona in Sant Joan Despí, where he continues to work on his recovery -- he's not back training with his teammates.
Due to doubts over his fitness, Barça signed Jeison Murillo from Valencia on loan until the end of the season to provide more cover and competition at the back.
Sergi Roberto and Malcom are back in full training, while Barça B players Miranda, Chumi, Wague, Oriol Busquets, Riqui Puig and Collado all trained with the first team, too.
Remember that Arthur, Luis Suárez, Messi, Malcom, Munir and Arturo Vidal don't return until Jan. 2.
