Two-goal hero Paco Alcacer says: I want to stay at Barcelona

The former Valencia man was the star in the Sevilla win

He says he does not want to leave the club in January

Striker Paco Alcacer was the unexpected hero as Barcelona beat Sevilla 2-1 on Saturday, scoring both the goals in the important win.

The player, who had not featured regularly under Ernesto Valverde previously, showed his desire to stay at the club, despite reports suggesting he could leave in January.

"I am very clear about what I want, which is to stay at Barcelona, to keep working hard and to get better every day alongside Luis [Suarez] and Leo [Messi], who are the best forwards in the world and I learn a lot from them," Alcacer told beIN Sports.

Alcacer explained that his situation is normal keeping in mind "we are a big squad and there are players that have to be left out. You have to work hard to get in the team and take the opportunities you get."

His two goals against Sevilla were just what he needed: "Personally, it's satisfying to score two and to help the team, because I don't play on my own and the team is the most important thing."
