Pochettino wants to bring in the Portuguese midfielder who is struggling at Barca
Tottenham are joining the push for Andre Gomes. Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs are thinking about the Barcelona player as a potential reinforcement for next season and are trying to beat West Ham to his signing.
The Hammers already already made a move for him last summer after failing to sign William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon. Poch wants to bring in 24-year-old midfielder Gomes despite his form at Barcelona over the last two years.
Gomes has a contract until 2021 with Barcelona and a release clause of 100m euros. The player arrived from Valencia for 35m euros plus 20m more in variables. That includes a 15m bonus if Gomes wins the Ballon d'Or.
